Show 'em what you got
Show 'em that you're not
Gonna let them hold you down
Break out of the cage
C'mon take the stage
Make the dream come to life right now
Running circles again inside your head
Looking for an escape from the life you've lead thus far
A heart that burns, an inferno of desire
You tell yourself, "Not today," cause you're feeling tired
Chance never knocks twice on your door
If you really want it, what are you waiting for?
Show 'em what you got
Show 'em that you're not
Gonna let them hold you down
Break out of the cage
C'mon take the stage
Make the dream come to life right now
They say that you've gotta keep it to yourself
You've gotta stay in line like everybody else
They say that life in the spotlight is not for you
They don't know what's inside, show em' what you can do
Chance never knocks twice on your door
If you really want it, what are you waiting for?
Show 'em what you got
Show 'em that you're not
Gonna let them hold you down
Break out of the cage
C'mon take the stage
Make the dream come to life right now
Show 'em what you got
Show 'em that you're not
Gonna let them hold you down
Break out of the cage
C'mon take the stage
Make the dream come to life right now

Circus is a music machine who's put out tons of amazing tracks since 715, but this is still my favourite of his albums by far. I still don't know how he got Len's English to sound so emotional and powerful on Poltergeist, but on that and every track Circus showcases why he is the king of English vocalsynth tuning wondersmith_39

Covered in frost, but beautifully enduring. Probably my favorite CircusP song so far. Though I'm most inclined to the Luka version, followed by the vocalist version, and then the Aido version, in order of most to least fragile-sounding, with the fragility making the stakes sound higher and the payoff more rewarding.
